Measuring Water!!!

My Class year 6J have been measuring water in these things in the Picture. We have been counting for five seconds then stop and the another five seconds but while we have stopped we wrote down our results. We also have a partner of your choice to work with and so you can work together. We have fun but the fact of all the water going onto my dress makes me cold because the water is cold.
We don't tip the water in the measuring cup so what we did is Mrs J put 1 little whole in the bottom of the cup so we put our finger on the whole when we stop.So when we start pouring again we let go then when the teacher says stop we stop. Mrs J calls out STOP and GO so we all pretty much get all the same results.
